The Victoria Police Department Administrative offices are located in the Police building at 306 S. Bridge Street. Administration consists of the Command Staff, an Administrative Assistant and the Professional Standards Unit. The Command Staff consists of the Chief of Police, two Deputy Chiefs and the three Captains who oversee the three divisions of the department; Patrol, Investigations and Support Services.
The Profesional Standards Unit is comprised of two officers, a lieutenant who investigates complaints on officers and department employees and a senior office who manages the department's Texas Police Chiefs Association Best Practices Recognition Program.
