Mobile Food Vendors

The City of Victoria requires all local Mobile Food Vendors to obtain a Mobile Food Vendor Permit from the Fire Marshal’s Office. Mobile Food Vendors from outside of Victoria County are required to purchase a City of Victoria Mobile Food Vendor permit. All permits expire on December 31st of the permit issued year. Please review the four steps listed below to obtain a permit.

Mobile Food Permit Steps

Step 1
Complete the City of Victoria Mobile Food Vendor Permit Application (PDF). Copies can be picked up at the Victoria Fire Marshal’s Office or complete the online application to become a mobile food vendor.

Step 2
Schedule an inspection with the Victoria County Public Health Department Environmental Department by calling 361-578-6281. Review requirements for Mobile Food Units.

Step 3
Schedule an inspection with the Victoria Fire Marshal’s Office by calling 361-485-3460.  Inspections are conducted by appointment only on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. 

Step 4
Submit the Mobile Food Vendor Permit Application (PDF) and all required documents to the Victoria Fire Marshal’s Office along with the $100 permit fee.
