First responders to play charity basketball game

US Postal Service versus Victoria's first responders. Sunday, Dec. 4. Faith Family Gym. Tickets $

The Victoria Fire Department and the Victoria Police Department have partnered with National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 1221 (U.S. Postal Service) to play a charity basketball game benefiting the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent and Victoria Toys for Tots

The game will be Sunday, Dec. 4 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Faith Family Gym, 2002 E. Mockingbird Lane. Officers and firefighters will team up to play against USPS. Tickets will be sold for $5 at the door or at In lieu of the ticket cost, attendees can bring five canned goods or a toy worth at least $5.
