Juvenile case manager completes higher education

City of Victoria Municipal Court Juvenile Case Manager Elizabeth Montes recently earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Houston-Victoria. Students who graduate from this program have a profound psychological understanding of self, individual differences and group differences and are equipped to understand ethical issues, think critically and communicate effectively in the field of psychology. Montes began working for the City in 2018 and previously served as a Municipal Court clerk before being promoted to her current role. She also holds a Certified Court Clerk II certification from the Texas Court Clerks Association, an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate of Science degree in business management.
