Mayor’s Youth Council collects donations for STCH Ministries

STCH Ministries is a local nonprofit that provides housing for children and single mothers, as well as counseling, job training and other services.

The students collected the items through donation drives at Victoria East, Victoria West and St. Joseph High Schools.

Cloud discussed the amount of work that his office receives, the importance of his staff and how he connects with the community when he comes back to his district.

About the Mayor’s Youth Council

The student-led group is a collaborative effort between Mayor Jeff Bauknight and local high school students to foster civic involvement through service projects and educational opportunities.
