Victoria Police Department receives $9,000 for SWAT equipment

The Victoria Police Department received a $9,000 grant from the Dickey Foundation to purchase tactical communications and hearing protection equipment for the Victoria Police Department SWAT team. The Dickey Foundation, sponsored by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and Frito Lay, conducts fundraising initiatives across the country to support first responders.
