The Victoria Fire Department and the Victoria Police Department have partnered with National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 1221 (U.S. Postal Service) to play a charity basketball game benefiting the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent and Victoria Toys for Tots.
The game will be Sunday, Nov. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Victoria College Sports Center, 2200 E. Red River St. Officers and firefighters will team up to play against USPS.
Tickets will be sold for $5 at the door or at www.tfbgc.org. In lieu of the ticket cost, attendees can bring five canned goods or a toy worth at least $5.
