Fourth of July event to include livestream of fireworks

The City of Victoria will welcome residents back to the Victoria Community Center on Sunday for an in-person Fourth of July fireworks show, but residents who prefer to watch the fireworks from home can do so through the City’s Facebook page.

New Orleans-based cover band Bag of Donuts will provide a free concert at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, and the Miller Lite Blastoff fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks show will be livestreamed on Facebook at City of Victoria, Texas – Government.

The Big Texas Fun carnival also will be open at the Community Center from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday and from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday-Monday. For more information about the carnival, visit Big Texas Fun on Facebook.
