Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget of the City of Victoria for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, and Tuesday, September 7, 2021, 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 107 West Juan Linn St., Victoria, Texas. All interested persons will be given an opportunity to speak and/or present written material on the subject of the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2021-22. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $1,129,682 or 4.39%, and of that amount, $203,733 is tax revenue to be raised from new property values added to the tax roll this year.
