Residents soon will be able to enjoy five new food options on North Navarro Street near Primrose Street.

The new development is a result of the City of Victoria’s partnership with the Victoria Sales Tax Development Corporation and The Retail Coach to bring new retailers and restaurants to Victoria. The following quick-service restaurants are scheduled for completion in early 2022:

  • An upgraded Burger King
  • Dunkin’ Donuts
  • McAlister’s Deli
  • Arby’s
  • Taco Bueno

Mike Etienne, Assistant City Manager“We are pleased to announce the arrival of these new quick-service restaurant options for our residents,” said Assistant City Manager Mike Etienne. “The City of Victoria’s close collaboration with The Retail Coach is an important component of our efforts to boost Victoria’s economy and provide amenities.”

The City and VSTDC have partnered with The Retail Coach, the nation’s top retail recruitment and development firm, since 2013.

Some of the new restaurants had been seeking a Victoria location for more than five years, said Aaron Farmer, president of The Retail Coach.

Funding for The Retail Coach is provided through the voter-approved Type 4B half-cent sales tax, which is allocated by the Victoria Sales Tax Development Corporation. These funds must be used for economic development projects, including public infrastructure, new amenities and retail recruitment.
