[ARCHIVED] Enchanted Gardens prepares to welcome residents this fall

PHOTO #1: City of Victoria leaders and Victoria Housing Finance Corporation representatives on Jan. 7 attended a site tour of the future Enchanted Gardens Apartments, 4601 N. Ben Jordan St. The Realtex Development Corporation project was mainly financed through VHFC bonds (which must be repaid by the developer) and through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs’ housing tax credit program. The complex will offer 168 units priced for residents who earn up to 60% of Victoria’s median family income. Realtex Development Corporation representatives said construction is roughly 25% complete. The complex will begin leasing units in July, and construction will finish in October. To learn more about the project, click here.
