  1. Friends of the Library BOOK SALE

    May 17, 2021, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM @ Victoria Public Library

We've been gone for a while, but now we're back! A few special weeks out of every year the Friends of the Library hosts a Book Sale in the Bronte Room, with proceeds going toward programs at the library. You will find a varied selection of gently used books of all genres, as well as audiobooks, CDs and DVDs for all ages. Shelves and tables will be spaced apart to create distance. The checkout station will be located at the side doors, reducing foot traffic at the entrance. The room will be disinfected daily with ultraviolet light. Attendees and staff will be required to wear facial coverings. Disposable masks will be provided. Staff will wear rubber gloves, and gloves will be provided to guests who want them. Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the room. Because the library has reached its maximum capacity for donations, the Friends of the Library will not accept donated materials until after the sale.
